Those are perfect man.

Any opinion on sound/performance?

And as the other poster asked, stability?

What is the model on those filters? Thanks for test fitting man! I was going to jump the gun and get the Stillen V3's but you may have changed my mind since I do not want to cut/trim anything

stability? are you asking if they are wobbling, they are pretty fixed no flexing around, the takeda metal tubes are fixed to the bumper support with brackets and the filters clamp on strong to them no moving around..

too soon to tell. butt dyno said yes, but we all know the placebo effect to a new bolt on.

here the info on the filter....
RU-5114 - K&N Universal Air Filters, Universal Rubber Filter
but i would still recommend cutting so it wont restrict the elbow.

honestly not sure the product page didnt really say and it didnt come with anything specifying that it needs to be oiled

K&N RU-3550 - Universal Air Filters, Universal Rubber Filter

Do you think these would be a better option for the cone style filter? They should be a little bigger than the 2990's you ordered. I'd imagine these are pretty close to the size of the Stillen Filters..

If you think these fit I think I am going to go ahead and order my takeda intake

Maybe this thread should be forwarded to Takeda to show them that there is an interest in dual filters for their intakes.

It might not be worth it to them business wise to offer two intake configurations though.

no shield.. i dont have one.. i believe the shield also fits between the filter and band and these filters together are about 1" longer so wont fit.. but may work with some others..
