In for updates. Very nice job. I didn't realize the non-sport bumpers were so similar to the earlier sport.
Really interested, but waiting to see what the chrome bezel looks like smoked/blacked out.
Edit: Didn't the bumper swap utilize the factory stalk switch? Any reason you chose not to go this route?

OP already posted a picture of the blacked out bezel.
OP wanted the fog lights to be turned on/off independently from the headlights.

Yellow wire 87 goes to fogs, yes both fog wires went to that one connector.
White wire 85 gets grounded.
Blue wire 30 get a spade and plugs into the climate control seat connector.
Black wire 86 goes to the running lamp 12V wire.
Red wire 87A gets cut off, I stuck a red cap on it.
The AC Delco connectors have 18AWG, thats what I ran from the fogs to the relay, which has 14AWG.

I bought the same switch.
Can you please explain how the switch wires up. Does the black wire go to the switch or splice into the running lamp wire?
Thanks again for the education.

Take a black wire, splice it into the running lamp wire with a scotch-lok wire tap. Run the wire from there through the firewall to the switch terminal in, run a black wire from the switch terminal out to the black wire on the relay connector #86.
Dont forget to ground the switch so it illuminates. The switch box has a diagram.

Sweet thanks. Can I ask where you buy your Scotch loks from? Link?
Edit: Will these work? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0002B...319510-7561849
Or these

Lastly, how do you attach the wires to the switch? Solder or what size connector?

Did not pull the bumper. I dropped the front of the lower engine shield to allow full removal of the front wheel well liners.
I didn't even remove the wheels!!
The tank, you will need 1/4 drive ratchet with various length extensions. Also
a 1/4" drive universal wobbly.
The new one being skinnier will be easier to install.
Hint: Drain the tank completely first, even of you plug it, the weight will make it hard to handle. It holds over a gallon.

My switch just came in today, I got the blue ones.
Oh well. Aqua it is.
Harness and relay is enroute and ordering the lights soon.
anyways... do you guys think it's weird if I go to a shop and have them do the labor? Give them print outs of this DIY and all the parts needed. I have minimal to almost non-existent car electronic skills and mediocre wrenching skills.
TV....Can't thank you enough for this DIY.... Like I've said before, I've been wanting to do this since I bought the car in 2008. It should've came with foglights down there in the first place. I've started threads on this before but no luck and minimal feedbacks. I've also thought about doing the Audi/MB wannabe LED strip route before.

Just got my aqua switch today. LOL. Youve made me consider returning it. Hmmmm. Oh well, also got my hyper yellow bulbs for stock and bumper fogs. Just waiting for 6k Ultinons and 6k city leds to have the full lighting upgrade. They should be here by the end of the week.
