#32
Hey Breftayka -
How are those vinyl Akebono decals holding up - I think I'm going to go with those instead.

Way to go! i Love this DIY. I bought everything to that job: VHT Brake Cleaner, VHT High temp Caliper paint, VHT Clear coat and the Akebono vinyl decals from that site you were talking about. I have everything except the decals i ordered them a week ago and still no shipping updates. My G is Liquid Platinum i just put some nice CV3 on. I also put the eibach prokit and i am going for the red caliper with black akebono decals.. Hope it will look good!
Thanks again for the DIY!!

Stupid question. Can I just buy some spares to paint and remove the stock ones and then install the painted ones? How much are these used? I am leasing the car, so would prefer not to paint the ones that came with the car.
TIA

Here are my calipers! I choose silver metallic decals with black edge they look awesome since my car is LP. Just Finished clear coating them this morning so i will be installing this tonight and bleeding them as well. I bought a kit of bleeders you guys know which one to bleed first since we all have 2 bleeders on each calipers?

on orderinfinitiparts.com the front calipers are $223 each and the rears are $160 each. Those are the sport calipers for a 2008.. not sure what year you have, but expect a similar price. Keep in mind that is just the caliper.. none of the other components are included I don't think; ie: pads/pins etc.
