hey unv-it46, did you ever got the clear lenses installed to replace the amber? if so, got any pics of it?

They were finished but never installed because The way they were originally mounted in the housing was with plastic tabs that were melted into place. So i would have to put heat to the housing and try to melt them back into place. we didnt think about this prior to making them and the tabs that go into the holes are not that long. So melting them wouldnt work. I would have to glue them into place which if i dont like them would make them impossible to remove. So we are working on round two.

just thought i would add..

i just finished taking my bumper / headlights off and putting everything back together... that black plastic radiator cover doesn't need to come all the way off. i left it on


just a few steps that could be taken out. thanks for the diy

i took out my head lights to bake them but i ate them before i removed the amber...
