Car covers

Hey folks, for those of you who cover your car daily or when there's expected to be bad weather, what do you use?

I live in Southern California, so it doesn't rain often...but when it does, my car has a tendency to get pretty nasty - likely due to pollution in the rain as well as splashes from other cars driving by.

Bought a cover at a local PepBoys before a rainstorm last weekend, and it did essentially nothing despite claiming to be weatherproof. When I went out to check on my car after the storm, the cover had soaked through like a paper towel and the entire surface was wet.

Thoughts on a good brand to pick up before the next rain hits?

I got one at costco, it seems okay. I took it back, because it was so annoying to fold and put on the car.
