^ What do you mean about the bright light?

I kinda wish he would have buffed a little deeper to get the whole scratch out to a 9 or 10/10, but he used a paint depth tool so I trust he went as far as he could without compromising the factory primer...

Detailers use a bright light to pinpoint imperfections in paint, and that's why car shows are usually well lit. Under normal circumstances, the average person won't be able to identify the scratch, since light has to hit that area at specific angles. This is your daily so don't fret...more scratches of similar magnitude will inevitably occur

Any idea what the readings were?

Looking at the pic, I feel it could have been entirely removed without compromising the future durability of the clear, but it is hard to tell, so perhaps I am mistaken.

^ Unfortunately I don't. All I saw was the initial readings for the rear fender and rear quarter panel, which were in the upper 90s and low 100s respectively.
