As stated above, a Blower & Weave towel and call it a day. The less you actually touch the car the better. When I do use the towel, I spray it with quick detailer first to ensure there is a lubricant on the paint.


If you have a good top coat, the water flies off the car.

my main use for it is blowing leaves - try blowing some semi-wet leaves in the fall with a weak-**** blower....

the car drying is just a bonus.

leaf blower. Get most of the water off the vehicle then wipe off remaining drips with a chamois. The less paint contact the better

I like to flood the car with the nozzle off making all the water bead off, blow the mirrors door handles gas cap location and trunk area for water running down, and dry with waffle weave towel.

upgraded to the Kobalt 80V cordless leaf blower a while ago. the free extra battery deal made me bite the bullet.

works so good after Nanoskin mitt treatment, polish, and Hydr02 sealant - car was dry in minutes!

you don't need a leaf blower if you have a good coat of wax. Just take the nozzle off your hose and run a soft stream of water over your car. Most of the water will sheet off. Dry with a waffle weave.

it works so much better with the blower, ESPECIALLY with a good coat of wax.

you don't need a leaf blower, but i didn't buy it for drying cars - i bought it for blowing leaves. drying cars is a bonus.

If you use a blower put a Muslim cloth to catch cheap that might be in blower

i prefer atheist cloth to catch my cheap. Muslim cloth tends to oppress my wife too much.

I never use a chamois. Because it's so flat, if there are any particles in the water, it pushes it along the paint instead of absorbing it into the fibers of a mf cloth. That can scratch our wonderfully soft self chipping paint. Use a blower or air compressor or use mf drying towels. Stay away from the chamois.
