I go to Automotive Touch Up Paint from PaintScratch - Order Pro Grade Paint - PaintScratch.com for all my touchup needs. Relied on them for many years. Very good match on colors.

+1 on Automotive Touchup - match has been great. They are a little pricey but you pay for what you get and they have awesome tutorials on their site. I used to paint my own parts when I wanted to avoid a shop with some of their stuff. Good quality paint.

I see in your sig, you have a Malbec black car, you found a can to respray with, I thought it was a multi stage process for the black/purple with flake.

I am really curious to hear how it works. My front bumper (and lower hood) seems to have been pelted with tiny stones or something (perhaps the previous own tail gated a lot) But after a detail there were all this thousands of white specks were wax had not been removed from tiny divits. I spent hours cleaning them out but now I know they are there and I can see the spots so easily, it make me sad when I look at the car.

It's one step color. They also provided a can of clear. Can't advise you on your situation. My damage was an area that is hard to see. Worked fine.

Expensive but I had a large area to cover.

Guys;

This is to share my experience In case it can help you.
Be careful when matching paint in plastic surfaces to paint in adjacent surfaces that are metal.

At a stop sign a guy misjudged and bumped my car, with minor damage to rear bumper.
Took it to a top notch shop who had a hell of a time matching paint on new bumper (plastic) to that of rest of car (metal). After 3 tries, he got it very close. Most people cannot tell.

Good luck

Adding onto previous posters note about matching paint. When I received my sport bumper it came unpainted like they all do. I couldn't be without my car while the paint shop needed to match my moonlight white sedan. I took the mirror cover off one of my side mirrors and they matched it perfect!

I covered my mirror with two target grocery bags to keep water out and tied them tight. Little ghetto but worth it

Just in case anyone runs into this in the future.

The standard practice is to take off the gas lid. It takes about 1 minute with a screwdriver.

Ohh that was a suggestion as well that I had heard before. I also happened to be getting my led mirror covers painted too so that's probably why I just used that
