Wow this car had a lot of owners, some of them seem to have used it as a weekend car (see below). I'd be careful with this one, especially since it's a 6MT AND an '08. If/When you get a PPI, confirm when the clutch was last replaced and if there was a rear timing gasket issue. Also, the price isn't too great since it's the oldest model with 89k, so I'm sure you can haggle the price down (hint: say that the Q60 is right around the corner!). Good luck with the search and keep us updated.

Owner 1: 20k
Owner 2: 12k
Owner 3: 22k
Owner 4: 26k
Owner 5: 8k (red flag)

^^ GREAT points made there glass....

The car looks really nice and clean but 5 owners and that 5th owner only having it for 8k miles is definitely a red flag. And I agree that price is kind of high for an 08 with that mileage. Best of luck with your search and we hope to have you as an official member here jon!

Thanks again for looking into this everyone.
I wanted to reply on this. Let us say that the clutch was recently repalced and there was no rear timing gasket issue what would you guys offer for a negotiation.

side note: it has been on the market for about 75 days so I think i could use that as leverage as well.

Wow !!! $17K for a 6MT 08... Looks good though, I would say some room to move on price. Yes if 75 days on lot, would think they want to move it.

Good luck,

Pat

To be honest, I don't think it's worth risking your money on this one. If you're really looking to put a dollar amount on it, I'd say 13-14k tops. Even if there's no timing gasket issue, the problem may appear with higher miles which kills the deal. Again, the introduction of the new Q50/Q60 to the market is going to cause people to trade in their cars. I'd stay patient and move on.

Way too many miles for that price. I'd haggle it.

It really depends on the market--in Oregon if you wanted a 6MT G you either need to pay up or go pretty far to find one.
