The Gariepy VQ

Bought my 08 s coupe 6mt about a year ago with just shy of 60k miles on it. I've been busy with school the past year and haven't had the money to add to it. Hoping to start building it and updating the progress in this thread.
Current mods:

Engine:
Berk HFC
Stillen Gen3 CAI
Stillin mid pipes
OBX exhaust tips.

Suspension:
Eibach springs

Interior:
3M carbon fiber wrap on the aluminum panels.

Exterior:
Z-style front bumper with OC cf splitter
AK carbon rear diffuser
Red LED license plate light
Tints on windows and tail lights

The Gariepy VQ-photo358.jpg
The Gariepy VQ-photo161.jpg

Here's my starter list:

Engine:
Headers
Ecutek tune

Suspension:
Switch to coils, undecided on which brand.

Wheels:
Some options are forgestar f14s or vossen vvscct, 20x10 rear and 20x9.5 front.

Exterior:
Ipl side skirts, possibly with cf splitters
Switch out the headlights for some aftermarket ones.

Interior:
Replace 3m carbon trim with actual cf as the wrap is starting to peel and look cheap.

Any advice or input is greatly appreciated, especially as to what brands I should look into for the mods I'm planning.

AG

Off to a nice start, good list of mods thus far! As far as wheels, these were posted by member DaddyFatSacks and are an unbelievable deal for true Rays Nismo Forged wheels. The rear 19x10 +30 wheels weigh under 21 lbs and will be strong & high quality. This is about 1/3rd of what they should go for, and running 255/40/19s all around would be a sweet setup, and they will clear your big brake calipers. https://www.parts.com/index.cfm?fuse...=D0300-1EA2610 And rather than ditching your taillights, might take a look at these two, and end up w/ the GTR style that yogregb shows, would look great on yours IMO. Thanks for the info Brad. The images in the first link for the gtr headlights didn't load for me but the ones in the second look really clean, I'll definitely look into that.

Now that it's warming up, I finally mounted and painted my new bumper and splitter from Outcast garage. More to come once my pockets get a little deeper haha

That CF looks great man. Usually not a fan but I've been debating on a CF diffuser myself. Really like the look of them on this car.

Thanks man, I think it goes really well with the car, I have a AK V2 carbon diffuser in the rear too. I think next I'll probably get ipl side skirts and a cf splitter along those so there's a nice uniform cf trim along the bottom. I also have my interior trimmed with cf so it flows nice with the car imo.

did you install the diffuser and lip yourself? if so, is it a tough install?

Previous owner added the diffuser but it's just double sided tape and some screws, had a shop mount the bumper and splitter though. Nothing complicated with the splitter, just riveted and bolted to the bumper. For anyone looking into the bumper though it did take a decent amount of modification to fit, all in all shop charged me $200 to mount them both.

That's not bad. Really digging that diffuser though the more I look at it. Contrast on the QAA white looks awesome from what I've seen from other pics.
