Louith's "I'm getting older" Build Thread

I bought this car to better suite my 'Age' in 2014. i was getting older, needed a “grown up” car i guess. I came from a 2007 Honda Civic Si that i put a lot of hard work into but it all came to an end when i hit a deer and the insurance company called it a total loss. See my honda build thread here: They called her G I Cho

So anyway. On to my current build. I have to hunt for alot of photos so bare with me as i update this as i can.

July 2014. The day i brought her home.

i kept her fairly stock for some time.

Nov 2014. I lowered the car, baked the headlights and painted the housing black, wheels, and stuff. lol.

Mods done but have no photos currently:
Tien S-techs with Tokico blue shocks
R2C intakes
Cusco strut bar
Ark Exhaust
Fast intentions test pipes

Dec 2014. I added the Autokits v2 rear diffuser.

Jan 2015. thought it was time to add an IPL bumper.

May 2015. Thought my car was sitting too low so i decided it was time to ditch the springs and shocks i had and swap them with KW V1 coilovers. Also added a roof spoiler.

June 2015. added an Outcast garage splitter to the IPL bumper

August 2015. IPL Side skirts added. Then Side splitters were added as well.

September 2015. Wrapped my roof with 3M carbon fiber vinyl.

November 2015. Mirror caps and steering wheel trim hydro dippin in CF

January 2016. I ripped out my tail lights and the spoiler to get some work done.

April 2016. Since my car is down. i told myself it was time to do something to the car so i wrapped my interior with more 3M CF wrap

May 2016. ALMOST 4 months later, i finally get my spoiler back.

Since it thought it wasnt going to take long for my tail lights to be finished, i figured, what the hell.. ill send out my headlights for work too!

June 2016. I sent out my engine cover to get hydrodipped. very happy with the outcome.

July 2016. Cleaned up the engine bay some by selling my R2C intakes and bought a set of Stillen Gen 3 intakes.

August 2016. Finally got my lights back. and got a carbon fiber steering wheel. and my radiator cover hydrodipped

September 2016 Emblemless grill. Splitter rods. Tire letters.

November 2016 Won a trophy for breaking top 50 at the local car show. Import Vs Domestics at Maryland International Raceway

January 2017 More engine bay bits hyrdrodipped

February 2017 Work Miesters installed! No more blue wheels.

May 2017 Had my akebonos powdercoated. Decided to bring a little blue back because i missed it. Illusion Blueberry

June 2017 With all the real estate on the hood, i finally pulled the trigger on getting the GTR hood vents installed. With very limited choices on hoods, i like this option the best. clean and simple.

July 2017 Had the underside of my hood painted with the Rising Sun in Space Gray

Also took home a couple of trophies in July.
Took home 2nd place G35/G37 on July 23rd at ImportExpo in DC. I was pretty happy with this win.

I took home 3rd place Infiniti at Tuner Evolution in Philly on July 29th. This one was a COMPLETE shock. First and Second were both Liberty Walk G37s. There were a couple nice M's there, an LS swapped G35. Completely shocked and happy that i took home this honor.

October 2017 Updated my interior some more. Took off all the CM wrap and had my interior dipped. Door panels and arm rest changed from leather to blue Bride material.

January 2018 Finished the rear panels with the same blue Bride material. Headliner changed over to suede.

November 2017 Took home top 25 at Import vs Domestic at Maryland international raceway

This might turn in to my favorite build thread. The way you're tying everything together is perfect! Really looking forward to this Gs future, it's going to be retina-burning bright!
Congrats on the upcoming big show, keep us posted and way to represent the G!
BTW, you say getting older, how old?(coming from a 54 yr old geezer, lol)

Thank you! i wanted to try to do something others havent yet with the G. I havent seen any white with blue wheels. Who knows how long i will keep the wheels but at the time being, i love it still lol. I have been to a couple of shows locally and got no love, not that im complaining. i have fun with the car.

Im 34 lol. not that old or anything. just older, felt like having an infiniti was just right. Not rolling around in a honda haha
