Then started reading everything I could here and learned a ton so began shopping with Kyle at importpartspro.com who is amazing. Slowly over the next 6 weeks parts arrived and stacked up.

I'm not a DIYer sadly as I don't have the skills, space, or tools to do it. So I had to wait for all of it to arrive and get an appt at Intec Racing in Kent, WA.

Next thing I did was jump on kennys group buy for carsmo *****. Probably the best $45 I've spent. Looks amazing and feels great.

Yesterday I got a few pieces added that I've been sitting on.

Parts installed were:

Stillen f/r sway bars.
Tein Basis Coilovers
20x9 M151 Niche Verona wrapped in 245/35/20 DWS upfront and 20x10 wrapped in 285/30/20 rear.
SPC Camber kit with toe bolts and lockout washers.
Muteki Blue anodized lug nuts

Springs settled over an inch from install / test drive til the time I got home about 65 miles away. Was sitting at 25.25 inches floor to fender when I asked for 26.25 - 26.5 range. Looked good but not Driveable.

What it was set at before driving:

What it settled to by the next morning:

Clearly wasn't gonna work so I took it back and had it raised a bit and realigned. Also got the tanabe axle back installed too. Currently rides at 26.25 front and 26.5 rear with 1.8 deg of camber on all 4 corners. I am loving the raked look front to back.

As of 2/13/2017 I'm almost done with the car for a considerable long time. I ran my mod sheet a few days ago and am about $14k spent so far with another $6200 (double that if I go air/audio) remaining and that's my limit.

Remaining mods:

- Carbon fiber hood wrapped white except vents
- Bella duckbill trunk carbon fiber wrapped white
- Lighting underbody and interior
- Replace front wheel with 20x10 +40 for matching concave front and rear.
- custom mid/Y pipe for exhaust
- Access Evolution Diffuser

Great build you've got up & running, glad you put it together!

Nice readjustment to your height, you'll be back to happy again w/ that setup.

Sounds like that shop just doesn't want to work on your Exhaust, those O2 sensors will come off easily if they are prepped prior to the job, Yo can do that yourself. The best rust breaker is a 1:1 mix of ATF & Acetone, spray that 24 hrs prior to the job, along w/ the 3 upper cat bolts and 2 lower ones and they should have no trouble w/ any of it.

If they are that leery of breaking the sensors I'd call around for another shop. Mine is an 09 w/ 75k miles and I DIYd it w/out issue.

Great job and look forward to more pics & reviews of your parts once you get time w/ them.
Brad

The car looks amazing as well as you list of current and future mods! I have the privilege of looking at this gorgeous sedan everytime I turn on my computer at work now (thanks again for that picture).

I absolutely am in love with those wheels and the fixed height of the coils. You're going to see a huge exterior difference once you wrap thay roof in gloss black. It really does look AMAZING on a white G. Prior to wrapping my car in satin black it was pearl white with a gloss black roof and absolutely loved it.

I have officially also subbed to this awesome build thread so I can keep up with any future progress done to this immaculate beauty.

You making this build thread definitely has me about ready to make mine as well since I found a couple small future mods I'm planning on doing. I just have to get all my pictures in order lol

Thanks guys. And Kenny, you're yoo kind. I'm barely more than stock and nada compared to your build!

I'm getting the spacers today from another member local so will be cancelling my order for them. Need to raise the front about a half inch or so and probably increase some camber or roll fenders. We'll see.

As for the shop, they are well known but I get the feeling they wouldn't try too hard to keep it cheap so may look elsewhere.

What did your shop quote you for the motor mount installation?

Agreed. A 2013 with only 26K miles shouldn't be a problem.

OP, I love your car and what you're doing with it to date. IDK if I'm going to feel that way after you do everything in your list, but right now I think it's fantastic. Those rims... very bold choice, very attractive results.

I didn't get a quote for the motor mounts as he just said "wait until you're ready for headers at least before we discuss those....."

Thank you for the compliment.

Purely curious what planned mods may turn you off?

Hmm. Because I didn't think the motor mount swap was that big of a deal, but like you, I'm no mechanic, so could be.

Nah. Just keep doing what you're doing. I'm not going to dump on something that you haven't done yet. Here's another way to look at it: if you had asked about those Niche wheels painted white, I would have scoffed at the idea. But hey look how nice they are! (Paint mismatch notwithstanding.)

I'm just going to trust that you've got a creative eye for modding your 6MT. And if I don't like it... well whoopdidoo, because I'm nobody. And it's your car, not mine.

I did struggle at first with the Niche wheels. I know they are super heavy (and I do feel them driving) and my first choice was a deep chrome lip with a white face but it would have taken my entire budget for the next year or so to afford them and I had more plans....

not saying I'd do or not do something based on anyone's opinions but my own taste can change when I become aware of alternatives. I would have never even thought of wrapping the roof until I saw it. if you have ideas/suggestions on something I could do different, always happy to consider.

Good start to the build

I wouldn't be worried about the o2 sensors I had my FI RHFC installed and those suckers were rusted on good I had to cut the bolts but surprisingly my o2 sensors came right off with no problem

Irack, have you thought about painting those calipers, that wheel style is perfect for showing those Akebonos in full view. This would look pretty awesome IMO
