Tackling the engine bay. Phase 1 underway. Cusco bar is 1/3 done. Mounting brackets still need black vht. But, the bar is painted.
Engine, battery and break fluid covers were done in vht burnt copper ('obviously orange' would be a better name). It's a great color for the bay. It won't be carried out to any other areas with the possible exception of the trunk.
Fluid tanks are next with the same shade. I'll leave visible strips to gauge fluid levels. Wiring will be cleaned up after the bumper and fog install. Need to pick up some plumbing to hide some of the wires.

Triniti - OB Vert Build
Started tearing down the interior this weekend. What a nightmare! Going to try to get the interior done sometime this week
Tonight, I've been playing with getting the rose gold trim over one of the *****. While I really like the Carsmo *****, they're in my opinion just a bit over priced and they (understandably) don't come in rose gold. They are however, beautifully well made and nicely packaged according to those who have purchased them.
Attempt number one went alright. Going to try another approach and see if I can improve the look.

I had originally planned on installing the 2010 Sport bumper without fogs. But, I didn't want to leave holes in the bumper and bought fogs anyway. I now realize that I need a slim washer fluid reservoir tank to install the fogs with the new bumper.
Echoing the many posts I've read, it is astonishing to me that the stupid (smaller) plastic tank is $122! That's nearly half the cost of the entire front bumper! So, now the search is on for a slim tank at less than obscene prices. Any assistance would be of enormous help! I'll try local junk yards. But, Id be greatly appreciative if anyone has a slim tank alternative or know of an affordable way to acquire one.

Toying with the idea of going a little wilder in the engine bay. I've ordered orange split wire loom to redo all of the wire coverings and purple VHT paint. Here's a rough idea of what it might look like. The Cusco bar will go in (painted) after bumper install.

Test fitting the rear diffuser today. It's very much just "an idea" of the final look. For the final appearance check out cereal2k's vert.
This is considerably better than I expected. Got to do the exhaust before install. But, I like where this is going.

I'm not sure what I think about this. It's a neat blend of awesome designs. But, is it trying to be something it's not? Is it wrong? Cuz it feels kind of right.
Also, where do I post this question? I'm on mobile right now. Can't find an appropriate thread or sub.
Anyway, I might be swayed to buy this. Creator and I are talking about it.

V1 HFCs and Top Speed axle back exhaust system installed. I'd planned on this being a hold over until I got the gthaus. But, not sure I need anything else. Sounds nearly perfect. As close to GTR sounding as I've heard and on the CHEAP no less.
The 2500-3250rpm range is a bit too loud. But, it's tolerable to be sure. Everything else is bang on for what I am looking.

What's up kimmspeed. My bad I can't believe I haven't seen your BT till just now.
Nice to see another member with a BERT fully commit to modding the hell out of it.
Your build thread is put together nicely....and you seem to be moving along your mod list really quickly. Looking forward to your future mods bro.
Btw the vanity plate I prefer is topdrop
Unless topless is taken
