Axel back installed! It sounds sooooooo good! This is the only pic I have currently. I will attach a video I sent to my buddy, here in a bit. Honestly made me fall in love with the car again! I need to have the tips extended an inch or so, but that can be done later. I like the black tips because I don’t have to polish them

Holy cow. Last post was over 3 years ago??? does not feel like it. Now I know what my parents meant by time flys when you get older…
still have my G, she’s seen better days. She still drives and I drive her but I have a second vehicle that doesn’t require premium gas. Will post a detailed up tomorrow.

Wow. Tomorrow turned into a year and a few days shy of two months…..
ANYWAY
My G has seen much much better days. Finishing engineering school took its toll on me and honestly killed really any hobbies outside of gaming with friends.
Now that I am graduated, I’m getting the car bug biting me again and hard….
Just before transferring to ASU and moving to Phoenix AZ, a car slid into me and damaged my passenger side door and put a single dent in my passenger front fender.
After a break and visiting Dallas, I was driving back to PHX. Going highway speed, I smoked a jackrabbit. This ended up separating the lower front bumper lip from the plastic grille. To fix this I need to remove the bumper cover, disassemble, and put parts back together.
The last and arguably worst part, while my car was parked outside of my house, someone on Halloween night did a hit and run. Fortunately? it was only my front bumper. The damage is repairable with a heat gun, but I will need the bumper to be restarted.
A few years ago my battery died due to age, seasonal heat, and not being driven. I had a battery warranty so while the car was there I had a multipoint inspection performed. All checked out fine, with the exception of the weirdest thing, my coolant reservoir was empty. I asked the tech if he saw any signs of gasket leakage or what could cause coolant to just “disappear”. He said there were not signs of coolant leaking in the engine bay, the exhaust looked good so really no sign of gasket failures, he and the ASM chalked it up to simply “IDK”. The G was topped off with coolant and sent me on my way. Seems to be holding as the coolant level hasn’t dropped since.
Anyway, I am starting to drive my G37 again and I’m remembering why I loved this car so much. I will be driving it more, even though premium gas here is Cali gas quality and only a couple bucks less per gallon…. Don’t get me started.
I look forward to posting here more than a year and 2 months! I think I have some mounts that need to be replaced, my air filters definitely need replacing, backup cam is failing more times than it works, I need to replace my passenger seat due to a tear in the leather (I have a full front set in my garage with a different wire harness so thats fun), my headlights need to be polished, my tint is bubbling, and I need new break pads and a brake fluid flush probably is in order. All in all a lot of potential content for my build thread

Stopped by the Nissan deal for brake fluid to top off my brake and clutch reservoir. While I was there I ask what intake filters would cost. $20/each for Autonation “brand” or $30/each for Nissan. Plan on buying an intake again anyway, so I chose Autonation. Plus can put the $20 towards 4 gallons of gas . Anyway below are the pics of my dirty filters
