Well as luck would have it, the event was very unorganized. This is not the first time I have heard this about the track... Might be why they are having issues with getting the money together to resurface the track. I realize its far from cheap, but asking for investors... eh anywhozels, they have a check list that I assumed was to be looked over by the driver and then looked over by a track official. Turns out the drive looks over the check list and then takes thew car to the drivers choice to get a track inspection... It would be so easy to forge, just saying. But alas I have a conscious and that would be the time an accident would occur. I understand safety first and better safe than sorry. Also could not find a helmet in time. The frustrating thing about this is, I have been attending the event via facebook, its how the event was setup, for about 2 months. 2 weeks ago I found out I had a hairline fracture on my tibia. I decided to sit this event out and do the gofast event here in Texas with some buddies. I didn't pay in time to go the same day as my buddies. I decided Wednesday I would go to the road course tomorrow and messaged the coordinator, that is when he sends me all of this paper work to be filled out. Thursday night... like after 5... Of course the shop I trust was booked. Oh well! Worse things have happened!

SO I will attend the next event and will have plenty of time to get all of this squared away!

To lick my wounds in a sense, I slightly doubled the track fee and am buying a takeda intake

Thats exactly what I want to do! It'll be while, but I'm debating on gears or not.

There's no debate. Gears.

Gears.

You should probably get the gears.

I heard getting new rear gears for our car makes a big difference.

...anyone ever tell you that you should get some rear gears?

ordered some exhaust wrap to wrap the engine side of the intakes that come in tomorrow! I'm not sure if I screwed up by not buying reflective wrap. I'll check the intake temps before and after. If it hurt, then I'm sure I'll find somewhere to use it. Besides, some testing is always fun!

Save that and buy some reflective tape. It will look much cleaner!
