Following for updates.
The L shape vent is longer compared to the older slightly bent vent line.

Yes, of course I considered the driveshaft, and LSD upgrade. For street use there isn't a need for it, but for tracking would be a different story.

Maybe, later down the line when I upgrade to drill rotors, SS lines, and motul brake fluid. I'll upgrade the rear end if I'm willing to truly track the car. As of now my skill, and time available to drive doesn't equal to the investment at hand.

Sick build so far. I live your little touches to the exterior the most.

Leaning towards power coating my wheels black to compliment the wrap.

To many people are telling me to keep the wheels.

I think you should keep the wheels. And the color of the wheels too. They look great and your wrap stands alone very well. I like how the wheels March the gray in the car and the rest of the lines are bold and unique.

Thank you. I get hard looks when I driver her "once a week ".

Wish had more time tho, but that's ok makes me appreciate her more.

The wheels are damaged tho, and it does bother me. At the same time no one notices unless it's parked. Guess it's a catch 22...

I do like Z1's steel shroud that goes under the car, protects the turbos/piping. May invest $200 in that. Last two things I can do is change the interior and make it faster.

Isn't it so true that wheel damage is really only seen by the owner of the wheels. $hitty and sad, but mostly true. When your moving there's way too much cool stuff to be able to focus solely on the wheels...not to mention the wheels are turning.

But my curb rash was/is the thing that bothers me the most by far. And I've got a bent up fender n semi jacked bumper cover right now lol

For sure, I'm torn towards a new set of wheels because of it. Power Coating would cover the damage making it less visible to the naked eye.

Nice volks, or works would be killer on the car, but most likely I'll have to power coat my wheels anyways if I'm plan on selling them.

Black insert under the headlight matches the grill.

Nice new details.

I'm torn on wheels as well, but I'm absolutely certain that I'm buying a set soon. Just have to decide on which ones. I totally agree that a nice set of work or volk would look amazing on the cars. I have to say that Vossens look damn good on our cars as well. More or less that's the wheel conundrum I'm going thru at the moment. To re-Vossen or not to re-Vossem? Lol. Should I JDM this b!tch or what? It's tough bc the JDM wheels I prefer are at min $3K and more like $4-$4.5K. So wow ya know?

Perfer aggressive stand wheel with a lip, it's a have to. My suggestion is Craiglist, and eBay search Volks/Works for a set of per owned. May spend less that $2.5k having close to mint condition wheels.

With camber arms, and spring kit. Can easily have a show quality wheel stands.

2016 update.

Decide on powdercoating the wheels, it was done by Westside Powercoat. They did a awesome job filling in the defects. Definitely took their time making sure it was perfect.

Purchased Micky Thompson Street comps they're cheap, and easy to find.

Also, did a brake job few months back. Yes, yes I know "Why not cross drilled?" Truth is the car isn't driven enough to justify the cost.

Glad to see you're still around, like the way those Mickeys fill up the wheel wells, what sizes are you running? IIRC those MTs are the same as Cooper Zeon summer tires for better prices.

245/40/19R front
245/35/19R rear

Definitely affordable. Tire wall is more on the thicker side compared to most. Believe it's more a domestic stands for mustangs etc... 245/35 looks more like a 275 from a distance.

Thank you, good to be back.
