On to a better subject.....picked up a couple sets of the Carsmo ***** in part of the group buy. Man cant say enough of how well crafted these are, the weight alone in your fingers, and then of course it tying the rest of the instrument panel together. Much much classier than the old black *****

My last update was I pulled the trigger about 2 months ago on a full set of carbon fiber parts from the forum. There are a few imperfections on them that I feel can be buffed out whenever I get time...but I was/am extremely pleased with the whole new look the interior now has. Next piece will be the matching steering wheel...but that will have to wait for now.

Not gonna lie, for it being the first time me taking apart the entire interior...I feel it took longer than needed. Whole process took about 4 hours. Although I can say was a great learning experience in getting to know my car that much more.

Some before pics:

Fat sac, I'm not going to tell you I like the CF, but I am respecting what you said about taking apart the interior. Did you break anything?

Yea with interior its ALWAYS a matter of personal preference. I know the CF thing can be played out and never been a fan of wrapping the interior. I was a little reluctant at first but extremely pleased with the final outcome and as with most mods....it just seems to grow on me more and more. That and you really don't see it on G's all that much at all.

Knock on wood didn't break a dam thing.....did lose a screw into the glove box which was an easy replacement...aside from that...the interior really isn't hard to take a part at all. I think it took me so long because I was being cautious and really wasn't sure what unscrewed/popped/if the tab was here or there. Like I said, GREAT learning experience.

It came out looking great man! And respect for doin the labor yourself even though it did take you 4 hours lol It'll make you appreciate the new look even more everytime you get into the car in my opinion rather then paying someone to do it for you.

Dfs love car. Just curious what instructions did you follow if any in removing the piece with the cup holders? My door stays open and it is driving me nuts, I want to replace it but skeptical since I don't want to break anything. I would have driven to Tampa just to watch those 4 hrs and learn.

Nice job Daddy, I'm sure those pics don't do the CF justice, it's hard to take pics of high gloss parts w/ lots of curves. Well done!

Thanks Brad, and YES...very hard to get the right light/angle with the glossy CF. When the sun hits it...its just a sight to see
