Very cool! My company does a lot of work in the Oil & Gas industry as well, so I'm curious who you work for, Tony? You can send me a PM or text if you want.

August 2019:
Found some time to install the oil cooler, filter relocation, and lines.

Trying to finish mocking up the piping.

September 2019:
The A/C lines are such a PITA - continually ordering/swapping the A/C lines. Went through about 4 or 5 lines until shelving the headache until there was more time to tackle the issue..

November 2019:
Installed RJM Tilton Master Cylinder and started hooking up vacuum lines.

Still scratching the head about this damn A/C line..

Starting to look like a car again though!

December 2019:
Finally powered through the A/C line and finished the piping.. Only to take it all off again.

January 2020:
Got the intercooler pipes back from powder, reinstalled it all, started on the tidbits that are left - boost controller, grounds, engine mounts, etc.

Pretty much as "finished" as it'll look.

Soon (ish?) 2020:
Rework the downpipes, add fluids, and finally START??

Nice updates, Tony! That intercooler piping turned out sweet! Is that black chrome look powder coat, or just gloss black?

Sorry to hear you lost yet another daily driver to flood damage... hopefully your house survived better this time.

I got them powdercoated in gloss black, but I guess they are so shiny that they look gunmetal/chrome.

Yeah my house was fine, we actually built a new home on pier and beam to aid with the flooding. But we saw water levels worse than Harvey in our area during the September flash flood. It seems it's just going to continue getting worse in Houston as more people and more concrete appear everyday.

Yeah, that really sucks about all the flooding. I would image that the flooding will only get worse without having the proper infrastructure that allows for sufficient drainage. It sounds like you've taken the proper steps to at least help protect your house from future flooding.

I also noticed in one of your photos that it looks like you got a small 2-post lift installed in your garage... What brand did you go with and how are you liking it? I'm currently looking at a 4-post lift from Bendpak. Something like this one: https://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/fo...t-lifts/hd-7p/

My car has been in Ron's garage for almost 2 years, I believe it's a MaxJax 2-post lift. It's probably not as good as a bendpak, but it hasn't had many issues that I'm aware of. I probably will swing for a Bendpak in my garage once I can convince the Mrs.

Definitely been a long time coming. Hopefully I will have time to get up there and finish tuning it enough for it to move around and be drivable again!

Yup, good call on that... always get the boss's approval before making any major purchases! That MaxJax looks pretty decent for around $2K, but I'm definitely wanting a 4-post lift so I can also use it to park a 5th car in my garage. I'll probably pull the trigger on the Bendpak (or similar) lift sometime this Summer, so I can finally start on my LS3 engine swap in the Porsche next Winter.

Good luck with the final tune. Keep us posted on how everything turns out.

Unfortunately, I think the ECU died in my car, so I need to find a good local tuner to bring the car to so they can diagnose and replace/retune the ECU is necessary.

You still in Cali? There should be quite a few tuners available there no?

Well things went ok until they didn't. I was finally able to get the car idling pretty well, but the CSC went out yesterday. Suspicion is that the fluid ate the seals since the car sat so long. This is a high probability since the MC went out, which was replaced with the RJM Tilton a few posts back. She's got to go back to her home - the lift.
