Question About TPMS and Winter Tires

Picked up a set of 18's for my G along with some Blizzaks because my wheels got messed up last year during the crappy NY winter. There's no TPMS on them and I don't care if the light is on. I just had one question.

If I put my winter wheels on with no TPMS I'm assuming the light comes on. Now when summer rolls around and I put my wheels back on which DO have synced TPMS, the light will go off correct? So there's no harm in running the winter wheels without sensors right?
