Resurfacing dill and Slotted rotors

Hi Guys -
I've search almost everywhere but I can't seem to get a definite answer on the topic. Can you resurface drilled and slotted rotors?. Some say yes you can and some say No just get a new one.
I've had only 40 K on these rotors and I've starting to get pulsation while normal braking and so I believe resurfacing the rotors might help.
Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Yes you can resurface them but many places may not want to once they see the drill and slot stuff.

You do have to be careful. If you have a weak lathe or dull tool and/or you try to cut too much too fast the tool may chatter or the machine may flex and you end up with a not so smooth surface.

A good machinist should have no problem with it though.

PS
I would try some brakeclean and scotchbrite first. It sometimes works.

Potentially even fixed by doing a few hard stops in a row.

Correct - we usually do the following.

Rebed

Rebed harder

Clean the rotors some

Worst case - turn the rotors.

If you have ceramic pads they can be quite stubborn.

Thanks very much guys. Ken, I have already tried the re-bedding and it hasn't worked.
I next best option would be to resurface the rotors and hopefully, it fixes my problem.
