Brake upgrade question

I know most people swap to akebono brakes when upgrading from non sport brakes. This got me thinking though, from what I have read it appears that base g37 coupe brakes are 330mm front and rear however base sedan brakes are 320/307 with rears not being vented. Would base coupe brakes easily transfer to the sedan for a cheap alternative slightly better brake setup?

You'd need new coupe calipers & rotors, only common part is the rear pads AFAIK. Would probably cost just a bit less than going Akebono unless you found some used setup for a bargain.

I am in need of new rotors and pads all around right now so figured this was a good time for a possible cheap upgrade. Seems I can pick up coupe calipers for about 50 a piece.

That's a possible option too. What I don't get it why the bigger akebono brakes cost less to replace than the base model stuff
