Tanabe Sustec Pro - Review
What's up everyone, hopefully this will help someone who's in the process of trying to choose coilovers, it's a big decision.....
Originally I wanted to get the new Tein Flex Z but they were unfortunately on back order. Couldn't wait till Oct.
So a while back I bought Tanabe Sustec Pro Coilovers along with some front upper control arms and rear lower camber arms. I've just recently found the time to install them.
Big shout out to Import Parts Pro for helping me out.
Packing was alright, could have been better from Tanabe but they arrived in one piece, which is all that matters. Installation wasn't that bad, this isn't the first time I've installed coilovers so we (brother and my dad) had a good understanding of what to do.
So before the install i was at 27-3/4" up front and 27" in the rear. (fender to ground measurement)
During the install....
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Not only is the car level (front to back) but it's a decent drop. New measurements are 26-1/4" all the way around.
After:
After a full week of being installed; overall the ride is a little stiff (as compared to stock) in my opinion, although the cornering/handling is better. It's hard for me to describe but when the car is lowered, you feel more in control of the car.
Well hopefully this helps, let me know if you have any questions. And one last pic as a parting gift.
