Diode Dynamics XML2 LED Foglights

**EDIT 1/20/2018: I cannot recommend these bulbs. Please go to the last page of the thread for my final recommendations**

Very fast shipment in a quality box.

Units are very large---fitment on the passenger side (2013 xS coupe) was a bit difficult, but doable.

These lights are very bright and a beautiful crisp white ~5500-6000K temperature.

I am very pleased with this purchase.

I recently purchased the XLM2 Fog Lights. Are they suppose to fit loosely? One of XLM2 fog light can be fitted, but it doesn't have that tight friction fit and I am concern about water getting into or the light becoming undone with the car vibrating during vehicle operations.

Are your XML2 fog lights a tight fit for those of you who have them?

Mine too. I wrapped the seat of one with electrical tape to add friction, and a better seal.
The other is held firmly in place by the washer fluid tank.

Hey Bikezilla, when you say wrap the seat, do you mean the rubber piece (orange color)?

Thanks for the feedback! These bulbs have proven themselves over time to be extremely reliable, with decent optical design and excellent brightness.

For anyone experiencing fitment issues, please try flipping the rubber fitment ring upside down. That may provide the extra (or less) tolerance needed to get everything in properly.

I bought these bulbs a month ago in 4k to match the factory hid's, which they do perfectly and am extremely happy with my purchase.

I meant the actual metal base under the locking fins.
I did it such there is still metal contact with the socket.
It took a few tries to get the right thickness.
