Ok, I checked today and this is the same thing that I have and it was caused by my wallet. The dent bulges out on my car. I am going to go apply some conditioner to it and see if that helps.

This can't be a "wallet".. I don't carry one in my back pocket.

I think this is a factory error. Probably something that is streatching the leather too much.

So how many people do we have here all with the exact same problem? 12? .. me thinks that this is not co-incidence.

I am telling you that I have the same thing and I thought it was caused by my wallet when I drove with it in my back pocket when I first got my car. I am not sure if it is cause by it or not but I assumed it was. Has anyone else driven your car like a service tech or something? Maybe they had a wallet. I don't know if that is the cause but I do know I have the same mark. I just put some leather conditioner on today so I will see what that does tomorrow.

I don't know what to do about it though. I keep my wallet in my other pocket so I know it's not that. Also, since the seats are so expensive to replace I am sure the dealership will give me trouble....

Has anyone had their seats replaced because of an issue like this?
mine is at the exact same spot!!!!

I put on some cleaner/conditioner and the stretch marks still exists.

Actually the stretch mark is there too on the right passenger seat after a person sits there but it is gone after awhile.

Since most of the pictures show the wrinkles/marks are on the right half, I am suspecting this is caused by the way we drive/sit in general since the gas pedal is on the right side so we tend to put more weight/pressure on that part of the seat.

May be we should mention it to the dealer and have them replace/fix it later (maybe after 2009 model comes out) so that they might have a real fix by then.

I haven't noticed it yet, then again, the non-sport seats might not have the issue since everyone who says they have the bubble have sports
