Aftermarket GPS/NAV mounting (2797LMT)?

I'm looking at getting a used G37, which does not have built in GPS/NAV
and maybe getting a Garmin nüvi 2797LMT (7" unit).
Any issues with mounting a 2797MT on the G37 dash?
Maybe falling off or blocking something important?
As I would rather get the 7" unit and not the 5" unit.

I've used a suction mount with a 5" gps in the lower left corner of the windshield. I have a usb port in place of the rear sonar switch, run a lead ~12" long from there to the back of the gps for power.

7" might be a bit large and obstructive for that area. 5" is a good fit, not too big, not too small.

Ended up getting a 2013 G37 with built in Nav.
And paid $99 for the 2016 map updates, only took 90 minutes for me to install.
