Monoprice 1.5' USB Charging Cables
In everything from inside computer cases all the way up to datacenters, I'm a tad OCD when it comes to having neat wiring jobs... so needless to say, having 3+ foot charging cables all over the cabin of my vehicles has bugged me for a long time!
I went in search of a SHORT USB charging cable... Only to find that the only local store with such a thing was Staples and they were Monster brand. No thanks, I don't do $20 for an 18" cable koolaid!
I found these gems at monoprice.com
They're 1.5', 28/24AWG cable, gold plated connectors with a ferrite core added for good measure.
So now, my cables look like this!
They are literally routed straight out from the power port (using a Griffin PowerJolt Dual 5V/1A Micro charger) to where you see them lay.
Pros: They do the job without having to manage several feet of extra cable, and they cost $0.95/per, and set me back $3.47 INCLUDING shipping!
Cons: They're not Monster...
