XM Radio, NavTraffic and NavWeather rates and deals?
I've had XM radio and navtraffic basically ever since the $77/year for radio deal I got after failing to continue my 3 month trial on the '07 G35S. nav traffic was an additional $2.99 on top of radio so why not.
Every year I call them up and tell them, that I'm not paying more than $77/yr for radio and I keep on getting the deal. With the 2010, I got them to give me the 3 mo trial for radio, traffic and weather, and it expired a few months ago, and my $77/yr is just about expired. I originally justified it since with navtraffic + the radio cost, it was still less than just navtraffic by itself, but now with my nexus one, traffic and weather isn't a big deal at all. Yeah traffic isn't perfectly integrated into the nav, but on the phone it also doesn't cost me anything. Plus, since the sirius merger dumped fungus (the only xm station i listened to) i never even listen to radio anymore. Anyways, long story short , anyone know what is the absolutely cheapest radio+traffic+weather bundle that you can haggle out of XM? If I can't get all three <$10 month, I'm probably just going to cancel.

I've heard people getting 5 months for $20. Check slickdeals.net forum.

yeh but then they get u for the full 15 or so a month, or 45 for 3. better deal is 77 for year without the navi traffic and weather alert. those alerts were freakin annoyin anyway. New phones can get weather quicker if u have the app or program

I bought my '08 G37 used and it's still got XM. Car's been in service for almost 2 years now; any way I can find out when my subscription is up?

Reiki: register an account at xmradio.com and it should give you that info.
I ended up getting them to get me the $77/yr deal again. At that price, combined with $3.99 for nav traffic, it's still cheaper than nav traffic alone. I got rid of weather. That thing was useless. Can't zoom in on the maps, can't scroll on the maps. What the hell were they thinking? |

Maybe the previous owner is still paying the bills. I'd leave well enough alone, so as to not point their attention to it. If/when it expires, you can look for deals then.
