I am looking into doing this for a 12" sub. I'm wondering if there will be any troubles?

For a 12 inch sub, you are going to have to angle it.

Extend the bottom a little farther out so the sub is point towards the trunk lid.

If you already have the sub, set it in the corner and you can measure how far out you need to build the bottom to make it fit.

One thing i could see problems with is the amount of volume required for the enclosure. I measured mine with packing peanuts after construction and it was around .5 cubic feet (I think... it's been a while). That's manageable for a high quality 10", but not a 12". I placed a premium on trunk space so I made it about as small as I could.

I would think that you would need to push it a bit further into the trunk area and I do believe it would need to be angled as well to handle the diameter of the driver.

Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck on your project.

1) How did you secure those voice recognition and sat radio boxes at the new location? I do not see any thing protruding in that new location where I can bolt these boxes.

2) How did you secure the amp at the new location?

I would really appreciate if somebody can give me detailed instructions on the above two as I'm a complete noob. Help me brothers I do not want to pay 250$ just to get couple of wires from front to back( that's what I was quoted for the amp install)

To answer 2, just use self tapping screws, or use velcro. Make it so that in case you need to remove it you can. Be careful when drilling as to not drill into the gas tank.

i did a similar fiberglass build, but did not take quite as detailed pictures of it. just figured id share it on this thread for the hell of it. i used to work in the aftermarket audio business but never madea fiberglass box. this is likely my first, and last..... it is 1 ft3 of air space.
