I like the ideas, looking good so far, maybe your prizes can be printed t-shirts and maybe some stickers you guys already sell.

I'm assuming "Thread Necromancer" is bringing a thread back from the dead.... so why is that a bad thing? I have negative 50 points for that

Hey Robb, get rid of the Thread Necromancer all together or give it the same value of number of posts. It's really not making much sense if new threads are created for the same thing. Or base the points deductions on a year value, so if the last update on the thread was a year ago then deduct points, but that may be too complicated.

If you guys think about giving premium members the option to turn it off I might seriously consider becoming one.

It's an interesting idea but the implementation is too much--please take it back a few notches or give us the option of just keeping it in our profiles. At this point the best way to browse the site is on my blackberry--the mobile version is perfect!

The mobile version is still far from perfect, at least on the iphone. Viewing a classified thread is a nightmare, or any thread with pictures, since it cannot resize the pics to fit the screen so they are way too huge for the phone screen.

Forum viewing for me on the iPhone is great on the normal version, but pictures do take a while to load. I don't really like the mobile version very much. But I'm willing to wait it out for the iPhone app.

yeah I really like this!
it's like a video game where you have a meter showing lives, special powers, a boost gauge, etc..
and I also concur that it's not necessarly a bad thing for reviving a beat down, old thread.
also, maybe itrader score should also be calculated. just a couple thoughts.
now I'm going to spend endless nights trying to get to the last level of "The adventures of Link"..I mean of this forum.
still think the whole idea is cool though.
