My wife didn't pull my car in far enough and now I have a scuff in the middle of the front bumper. Anyone know of a repair solution that works really well to make the scuff scratches blend away or at least make them much less noticeable short of repainting?

Does anyone make a special polish/wax solution that works?

I have a midnight blue 04 if that makes a difference.

Did it go through to the bumper or just scuff the clearcoat?

Pay a professional to buff it out -- if it's not through the clear coat, most of it will go away permanently with this solution. However, if it's through the clear coat, the buffer will get out a good majority of it, but it will be apparent upon close inspection always.

Any product you get at the store (Turtle wash wax, etc) will only temporarily make it go away.

You can get rubbing compound and buff it out yourself by hand -- try a small area first, but be careful, rubbing compound eats away at the clear coat.

That appears to be mainly clearcoat damage but bad enough to take it to a good detailer and have it polished using the proper compounds and power tool. It should only take a few minutes. Any scuffs through the clearcoat will would still be noticeable, viewing from some angles.
Where are you located. I have a guy that can fix that pretty good for a small fee.
Your other option is to try stuff like ScratchX but from the damage I see here you will wear your arm out rubbing that by hand and get so-so results.

Here's what you do, get some 2500 grit or finer paper, some soap and water and wetsand (block) very lightly stopping every five "light" swipes. Dry and repeat until scuff is almost gone and buff that out.

Which you can by hand or by machine, preferably by machine as it ll be easier

You won't get those out, but you can make it looks better. Find somebody with a buffer..even the DIY ones will take most of the easy stuff out. But that is deep.
