I say mention it here and anywhere you can. Tell everyone and it will do more to their sales then any complaint you can file. You can file a complaint with Infiniti customer service and they will contact the dealer on your behalf but unless your willing to still do business with them it won't help you.

Deposits are refundable. You can also call your credit card company. It takes a few days for a credit to show up. Sorry about your incident.

Complain to Infiniti through their web site. They are very nice to deal with and they will call you in a few days. I had a problem with Infiniti of Willow Grove Pennsylvania.Infiniti offered me a $250 service voucher for my inconvenience. Call the New Jersey State Attorney General's Office Consumer Affairs Department and file a complaint even if they give you your money back. The dealership will have a record. Don't forget to contact Consumers Report website. Nothing better than seeing the dealerships name in their magazine and not in a good way.

My complaints usually go nowhere. Recently, I just filed a complaint with the Nissan website about a Nissan dealer charged for the tire rotation but they didn't perform.

I never got a response beside an email from Nissan asking me to rate on how they handle the complaint.

Was this an honest mistake or are they trying to "sneak" something in? If this was an honest mistake, then cut them some slack.

^^^ agreed, sometimes things do slip. What didn't they calculate? Issue is though that 48 per month is kind of a large jump depending on how you financed. And it is not a fraud or ripoff since the deposit is fully refundable (if they even ran it, a lot of times we takes credit card info for a "deposit" just for comitment) Should't be so quick to jump to conclusions. But if it was malicious then shame on them.

There's no way this is an innocent mistake. It's not like they're using paper and pencils to do the numbers.

Thumbs down ROTTEN - Pine Belt Chevy Freehold, LLC – Freehold, New Jersey

I recently purchased brand new Chevy Avalanche from Pine Belt Chevrolet of Freehold. After negotiating the price of the vehicle and putting down $1,000 I was told by sales person that when I pick up my license plates there might be small difference that will be due from DMV. Sales person assured me that the difference will not be more then $20. He also made me sign a statement that I agree to pay DMV difference. When I came to pickup license plates I was shown a bill of $427 ! I paid the bill because my temporary license plates expired. I confronted sales person and demanded explanation, to which he responded that these charge are from DMV and I agreed to pay the difference whatever it will be. Management at the dealership refused to do anything about the additional charges.
I believe that the sales person knew about this large balance due and intentionally understated DMV charges on the contract in order to extract more cash out of me. The people at the dealership are in the business of selling cars and must have known the exact DMV charges in the state of NJ for my kind of car. Had I known about this very large additional DMV charge I would have put smaller down payment.
