My TPMS went off and right rear is leaking air

Argh, not even 1k miles yet and it's leaking air I tried to look for nail or whatever last night , couldn't find one and had to pump it back up to 35 psi. This morning it was like 25psi when I woke up. If there's a nail I have to get a brand new tire? Any chance this will be covered under warranty?

Wow it looks like some ****** drilled my tire. wtf is wrong with people?? What do you guys think? Someone drilled it?

Assuming it's in the tread they should be able to plug the leak, no need for a new tire. It will absolutely not be covered under any warranty.

Ok so they can plug it as long as it's not on the tire wall?

Yeah if the nail or whatever is is on the sidewall, then you'd have to buy a new tire. But if it's on the actual tread, it's a $10 fix.

Hopefully it's on the tread

$10 bucks fix, happened to me on the stock tires.

Just make sure when the shop takes off your tires, they don't accidentally break the TPMS sensor on the machine.

Get it plugged for now, But get a new tire in the near future, they run about a good 300 bucks, Btw if you going to any local tire shop, PLEASE advise them when putting the tire on the rim not to ****ing curb it all around with the bar, They did that **** to me once.

IMO, a patch is better than plugging.

dont go to dealer, dont claim insurance, jsut go to ur typical discount tire or whereever u trust to take care of ur wheels without scratching, and pay like 7-20bucks to fix it

ur lucky i got a staple right on the edge and it was unfixable , 300dollar tire replaced. within 1 week of ownership

that looks insanely too close to call... but it looks like it's too close to the sidewall to repair
